Know More Owe Less
Improving financial wellness for Prince George’s County and Baltimore City educators
Since 2022, MCCFW has helped relieve public servants of more than
$20 million in debt through Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
We are on a mission to help pre-K thru 12th grade educators maximize the benefits of PSLF and the Income-Driven Repayment (IDR) Adjustment.
Bring KMOL To Your School
Public schools are eligible employers for PSLF and applying for PSLF is more convenient than ever.
While the application process has improved, PSLF has several rules and time-sensitive nuances that public servants should be aware of before they apply. Whether it’s during a staff meeting or standalone event, MCCFW can partner with you to make sure your team is aware of PSLF and equipped to successfully apply.
Ready to host an event? Here’s how it works:
Select your preferred venue: In-person or virtual.
Tell your team: We want to help as many people as possible determine eligibility and apply for PSLF. We can provide the messaging.
MCCFW will come to you: We will explain the program rules, key dates, and application timelines (<20 min).
Ready, set, submit: Attendees can complete their PSLF Applications during the event with on-site support. Completing the PSLF Application should take no more than 15 minutes.
After the event:
Get support: Attendees can request a free, virtual appointment with a MCCFW Student Loan Strategy Coach.
Stay in touch: The PSLF applicant experience is evolving. Feedback helps us support current applicants along the way and inform future applicants about what to expect.
Share your progress: Whether it’s achieving full loan forgiveness or getting many months closer to it, we want to celebrate with you and we need to report outcomes.
